    Suppliers should maintain accurate, transparent, and complete records of all business transactions and decisions.

2. Labor and Human Rights

  • Freely Chosen Employment
    Suppliers should not engage in forced, bonded, or involuntary labor, including human trafficking or prison labor without consent.

  • Child Labor and Young Workers
    Suppliers should comply with applicable child labor laws and should avoid employing anyone below the legal working age.

  • Non-Discrimination
    Suppliers should promote a workplace that is free from discrimination and harassment based on race, color, age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, disability, religion, political affiliation, union membership, or marital status.

  • Wages, Benefits, and Working Hours
    Suppliers should compensate workers fairly and should align wages, benefits, and working hours with applicable laws and prevailing industry practices.

3. Health and Safety

  • Worker Protection and Safety
    Suppliers should provide a safe and healthy work environment, including appropriate training, procedures, and protective equipment.

  • Emergency Preparedness and Response
    Suppliers should implement plans and procedures to identify, assess, and respond to emergency situations in order to minimize potential harm.

4. Environmental Sustainability

  • Environmental Authorizations
    Suppliers should comply with environmental regulations and should maintain all necessary permits, licenses, and registrations.

  • Waste and Emissions
    Suppliers should manage waste, emissions, and wastewater in a safe and responsible manner that aligns with environmental best practices.

  • Sustainability Initiatives
    Suppliers should implement sustainability programs aimed at reducing their environmental footprint, including efforts to conserve energy, minimize waste, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

5. Management Systems and Transparency

  • Commitment and Accountability
    Suppliers should demonstrate commitment to these principles by allocating appropriate resources and leadership support.

  • Risk Assessment and Management
    Suppliers should have processes in place to assess and manage risks related to ethics, labor, safety, and environmental practices.

  • Documentation
    Suppliers should maintain documentation sufficient to demonstrate alignment with this Code and compliance with applicable laws.

    Suppliers should provide relevant training to ensure that workers and managers understand and can act in accordance with these expectations.

6. Reporting Concerns

Suppliers should report concerns related to this Code or other ethical issues to the Synterex Chief Compliance Officer. Reports may be submitted confidentially and without fear of retaliation.​
